Comfort and Joy

This has been a difficult year for many, including those impacted by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  Due to the pandemic, our fundraisers were either cancelled or made virtual, which impacted our fundraising.  Many families that we served this year were affected financially by the pandemic and needed support.

And yet, despite the difficulties we faced, we adapted.  Despite the hardships they endured, families persevered.  Despite what we have gone through this year, we have seen incredible amounts of kindness and generosity.

Many businesses and donors opened their hearts and gave to support CMN Hospitals, because they know kids health can’t wait.  Every penny put in our coin canisters, every cent rounded up for us at the register, every holiday card purchased – all are turned around to help the children facing illness and injury in our region. We are incredibly grateful for your gifts, and we have already put them to work to help many area families.

This year, many of us are staying home for the holidays.  We are not seeing extended family, traveling long distances, or going to large holiday parties.  This year, we will have a quiet Christmas.  Although many will miss the hustle and bustle of the season, our team hopes that you find comfort and joy in the calm this year.

As we reflect on the reason for the season, we are so thankful for all of our supporters of CMN Hospitals. To our donors, our doctors, our social workers, and so many others that have impacted the lives of our local children – thank you.  Thank you for helping us continue to change children’s health.
