Introducing our new local 2020-2021 Heroes!
Each year, our hospital selects five Heroes to represent our region for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Our Heroes are local kids who are facing a variety of different diagnoses and have been helped by CMN Hospital’s at Gundersen Health System. Our Heroes are all very different kids, each with their own personal journey. Although each story is unique, they do all have one thing in common – each of their families believe that if you change kids’ health, you change the future.
Our Heroes and their families are ready to champion CMN Hospitals 2020-2021 campaign year by attending events and fundraisers, promoting their stories on social media pages, and much more!

Cara from Onalaska, Wis. – Optic Pathway Glioma
Emerson from Rockland, Wis. – Rare, medically complex genetic condition
Mackenzie from Holmen, Wis. – Lissencephaly, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
Matt from Mindoro, Wis. – Down syndrome
