Round Up for Kids at Walmart & Sam’s Club!

Walmart & Sam’s Club locations across the country are raising money for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Beginning Monday, June 28 associates will begin fundraising for four weeks. The fundraising is part of a nation-wide campaign which has raised over one billion dollars for CMN Hospitals.

Whether shopping in stores, online, or on the app, customers will have the opportunity to “round up their change” for their local CMN Hospital. What guests don’t always see are the behind-the-scenes fundraiser that associates participate in to raise additional donations for CMN Hospitals.

“The stores get so creative with their fundraisers,” says Rena Cash, CMN Hospitals Program Coordinator. “They love doing water balloon fights, dressing up in funny costumes, and other competitions. These fundraisers are what makes the campaign more than just a customer ask…the whole store gets involved in raising money for local kids,” she concludes.

CMN Hospitals is there to help families in our 25-county service region, regardless of the medical condition they face and regardless of where they receive their care, but they can’t do it without the generous support of local partners like Walmart. “That’s why we are so grateful for partners like Walmart and Sam’s Club who raise money for CMN Hospitals year after year – they do it because they know that many of their coworkers and many of the guests coming in their door have been helped by CMN Hospitals,” says Rena.

To get involved, simply shop at your local Walmart or Sam’s Club and make a donation to CMN Hospitals.
